Karr Barth Associates Named Title Sponsor of the
Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon Corporate Challenge
January 18, 2008 (Philadelphia, PA) - Organizers of the Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon in Fairmount Park today announced Karr Barth Associates has signed on as Title Sponsor of the event’s Corporate Challenge.
The Karr Barth Corporate Challenge will take place during the sprint triathlon on Saturday, June 21, 2008 in Fairmount Park. Companies are encouraged to register teams to compete against other companies in the region. The charitable beneficiary of the Karr Barth Corporate Challenge is The Cancer Center at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. As a signature event of the Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon, the Karr Barth Corporate Challenge will promote teamwork, corporate well being and a healthy workforce, all while raising funds for an important organization in the community.

The Corporate Challenge promises to be a fun and unique team-building experience with the ultimate goal of helping kids fight cancer.”
The mission of The Cancer Center at Children’s Hospital is to provide the best, most compassionate care available to children with cancer. The Center treats more than 80% of children undergoing cancer treatment in the Greater Delaware Valley.

Companies interested in registering for the Karr Barth Corporate Challenge can download a registration form at www.Phillytri.com to start raising money for The Cancer Center at Children’s Hospital today.
Corporate Challenge teams consist of a minimum of five participants, which can include any mix of individual participants or relay teams. Each team must have at least one woman participant. A Corporate Challenge team fee is $1,000 for the first five registrations; each registration above the first five costs $120 for an individual and $170 for a relay team. Participants are then challenged to raise funds for The Cancer Center as individuals raising pledges or through other corporate fundraising efforts.
Corporate Challenge teams will compete in three categories: the company with the most participants; the company with the fastest combined time of the team’s top five finishers (one of whom must be a woman); and the company raising the most money for The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

The Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon in Fairmount Park, presented by Suzuki, was founded in 2005 and has quickly become one of the largest and most popular triathlons in the country.
