Refunds / Transfers / Deferrals / Changes
There are no refunds and no transfers of applications. We do allow entries to be deferred into 2011. Requests for deferrals must be made by completing the deferral form by midnight EDT the night before the 2010 race date. You do not need a doctor's note to defer; you can defer for any reason. You will not receive a refund for your 2010 entry fee, and you will be required to pay the full fee for 2011, but a slot will be reserved for you. The deferral form will be posted here beginning February 1, 2010.
You may change your race entry type (e.g. Sprint to Olympic). You will be required to pay any increase of fee as a result of the change. The increase will be whatever the existing race fee is at the time you request the change. If the change results in a lower fee (i.e. changing from Olympic to Sprint), there will be no refund in the difference.
The PHLYTRI will be sanctioned by USA Triathlon. All participants, including relay team members, must be a USAT member or purchase a single event permit for $10.
